Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Draft notice: EdnasLearn is in beta and these terms are a working draft. A finalised, legally reviewed version will be published before paid plans launch. Questions in the meantime? Contact us.

These terms govern your use of EdnasLearn. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are using EdnasLearn on behalf of a school or tutoring centre, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

1. The service

  • EdnasLearn is a platform for creating worksheets, collecting student submissions, and generating AI-assisted marks, feedback, and rubrics.
  • During the beta period the service is provided free of charge. Features may change, and occasional downtime or rough edges are part of beta.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure.
  • Teachers are responsible for the classes they create and for inviting students appropriately. Students may only join classes they have been given a code for.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Your content

  • You keep ownership of everything you create or upload: worksheets, questions, marking criteria, and student answers.
  • You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: storing your content, displaying it to the right people (e.g. a student's answers to their teacher), and processing it with our AI provider to generate marks and feedback.
  • You must have the right to upload any document you submit for parsing.

4. AI-generated output

  • AI marking, feedback, hints, and rubrics are assistive, not authoritative. They can be wrong.
  • Teachers are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it for grades, reports, or any consequential decision. EdnasLearn gives teachers full ability to edit and override AI output before releasing it to students.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't use EdnasLearn to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to access data that isn't yours.
  • Don't abuse, overload, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service, and don't use it to generate content that is harmful to students.
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

6. Pricing and beta

  • The service is currently free while in beta. Published pricing on our pricing page is indicative of future paid plans, which will be billed via Stripe once payments launch.
  • Beta users will be notified in advance of any change from free to paid access and will never be charged without explicitly choosing a paid plan.

7. Availability and liability

  • We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is", without warranties, during beta.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Ending your use

  • You can stop using EdnasLearn and request deletion of your account and data at any time.
  • We may discontinue the beta or materially change the service; if we do, we'll give account holders reasonable notice and a way to export their results.

9. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page with an updated date, and continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
