Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Draft notice: EdnasLearn is in beta and this policy is a working draft. A finalised, legally reviewed version will be published before paid plans launch. Questions in the meantime? Contact us.

EdnasLearn ("we", "us") provides an AI-assisted worksheet platform for teachers, tutors, and students. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and role (teacher or student) when you register.
  • Teaching content: classes, worksheets, questions, marking criteria, and any documents you upload or link for parsing.
  • Student work: answers, uploaded essay files, scores, AI-generated feedback, and submission history.
  • Usage data: basic technical information such as log data and device/browser details needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the service: hosting worksheets, collecting submissions, and generating AI marks, feedback, and correction hints.
  • To let teachers do their job: teachers in a class can see the work, results, and feedback of students in that class.
  • To improve EdnasLearn: aggregate, de-identified usage patterns help us understand what to build next.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student work to advertise to anyone.

3. AI processing

  • Worksheet documents and student answers are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate parsing, marks, feedback, and rubrics.
  • This processing happens only to provide the features you use. It is not used by us to train AI models.
  • AI output is always reviewable: teachers can edit or override any AI-generated mark or feedback before students see it.

4. Storage and security

  • Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase/PostgreSQL) using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
  • Access to student work is limited to the student who created it and the teachers of that class.
  • We retain data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

5. Children and students

  • Students typically join EdnasLearn through a class code provided by their teacher or tutor.
  • Where students are under the age of digital consent in their region, the teacher, centre, or parent is responsible for ensuring appropriate consent before students use the service.

6. Your rights

  • You can request a copy of your personal data, correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete your account and data.
  • To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@ednasai.com.

7. Changes to this policy

  • We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page with an updated date, and account holders will be notified by email where the change is significant.
